From the ages of 4 to 17, I was a highly competitive gymnast and have always been used to hard work and the phrase "No pain, No gain." That was ingrained in my brain. So, pushing myself with workouts as I got older was the thing I just did. I am now 51 years old and the rigor of gymnastics all those years is catching up with me. I have had lower back surgery, a cervical fusion, two major hip surgeries and recently was diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis. The thought of "This is just my body now and there is nothing I can do about it" kept going through my mind. I was getting more and more frustrated with my workouts and not being able to push as hard as I used to and feeling constant pain.
However, I saw the Stealth and thought that might be something I can add into my day and do with very low impact. After seeing some of the results from people using it, I was excited to try it.
I have to admit, though, when I got my Stealth, I didn't use it religiously and was getting frustrated with it because I was trying to push myself too much and was giving up. I recently joined a public Stealth challenge - doing it once a day for 3 min. I thought "I could do that and it would give me accountability" so I joined and within a couple of days, I started doing it twice a day but the second one is only for 1 1/2 min. And...during the 3 min. game, if I can't do it on my toes the entire time, I go to my knees. It seems that not stressing about the push and just keeping the consistency is working!
The motivation from the Stealth Nation group is unbelievable.
