I am so excited to share my Stealth experience with you... It all started September 17, 2019, when out of the blue, my husband showed it to me and offered the family a challenge of three minutes a day on Galaxy Adventure for 30 days. I had no idea how hard this was going to be. I was SO disappointed when I made it to 1 min and 6 sec with a score of 236, and thought I was going to die. How embarrassing! Everybody in my family beat me. My 22-year-old did over 11 min and over 3000 points on her first try while fixing her hair and talking to us. My husband quickly advanced as I trailed behind. But I kept at it, as our family is highly competitive. So, I finally improved, and was so proud when I started beating my records. After the 30 days, I didn’t do it every day, but still tried hard.
But then came COVID... I needed another challenge, since vacations, fitness classes, and other activities were all on hold. So, I challenged myself to 365 days on galaxy adventure, making sure I tried my hardest every day. The year went by so fast! To keep up the challenge, I had to take the trainer with me whenever we took road trips. Luckily, we didn’t fly anywhere. There would be issues with car space which caused some discussions.
The most stressful time was Christmas Day when the app was overloaded. I woke up before midnight to try it again so I wouldn’t lose my streak. Another near miss was when I had my colonoscopy. I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to do it after a clear liquid diet for 24 hours and no food, but I got up very early that morning and did my best before I went to the surgery center. Luckily, I felt ok the next day to continue my streak. My husband was starting to think I was a little obsessive compulsive. But it was worth it when I started beating my record every month or so.
My average now is between 9 min 15 sec to 10 min. I shoot for at least 4000 plus points. I beat my record recently and made it to 14 min 1 sec with 6361 points. I compare my score daily with other competitors, but I know I will never catch this one lady! I am 65 years old, and I feel stronger than I ever have. This has helped me in strength classes, yoga, windsurfing, endurance, and overall good health. I feel so good when my daughter compliments me on my abs.
I am so thankful that my husband is very active and strong. He has been such an inspiration for me! He has been trying to get me to put my legs together to gain more strength and balance. He started doing that when he got up to 20 minutes and needed more of a challenge. I told him if I ever made it to 20 min, then I would put my legs together. But since I can’t seem to make it to 20 minutes, I have begun that challenge, which is very difficult. I am now up to 372 days, and I can’t stop!
Thank you Stealth Trainer!!
